The African Fashion Week Nigeria, is a platform through which many young Nigerians have been able to lift themselves by showing off their design skills. The platform helps to promote Nigerian brands through worldwide visibility, distribution and manufacturing. The platform is set at empowering young Nigerians, creating job opportunities and supporting educational and skill training in fashion.

This years fashion week started on the first of July and Derenle Edun was among male models to walk the runway.
