Snapchat Is About To Get Better With This New Feature

For those that are lovers of the app, Snapchat, it is about to get better, and you would like the new dawn.

Snapchat would soon add the saving photo/video option on the app. So, Snapchat will no longer be focused on just a series of 'snaps' that disappear after a while.

A new feature called 'Memories' will allow the user to hold on to your photos and videos a while longer than it is now.

Therefore, users will be able to access all their saved photos and videos by swiping up from the camera screen, a move away from it's motto of snaps.

There will also be an option to send saved photos and videos to friends. The new update will use image-recognition technology to categorise images so that users can search for snaps saved by date, location or even image contents.

Any pictures sent more than 24-hours after they are taken will be flagged up to the user. 

The update will be made available soon and users will be notified as soon as the update is made. 

These are the kinds of updates that users will want, considering that they will like to see their pictures and videos a while longer and also share them with friends.
