France striker Olivier Giroud states that the job is not done for France after they defeated Germany to play against Portugal in the EURO 2016 final.

France dominated most parts of the game and were rewarded with a penalty on the stroke of half-time when German captain Bastian Schweinsteiger appeared to have handled the ball in the box.

Griezmann made no mistake from the spot as he sent the Manuel Neuer the wrong way to put the hosts ahead.

A skillful display by Pogba who made a cross into the area was fumbled by the German goalkeeper unto the path of Griezmann who tapped it in to seal the game for the hosts.

Giroud's reaction:

It was an emotional night, we will enjoy it and then focus on Portugal. 

It was a key moment to score the first goal, the penalty changed the game because Germany had created some chances in the first half but weren’t able to score.

The striker added: It’s been a while since we beat that team in a big match.

We’re very tired but very happy tonight. We’re going to enjoy this and then concentrate on the final on Sunday.

I’d like to write a chapter in history and achieve something great on Sunday.

He stressed: We hope there will be a great ending to this tournament, we can’t stop now.

France will now face Portugal who defeated Wales in the first semifinal. The final is billed for Sunday, July 10, in Paris.
