Amosun Sacks Commissioner Over Misconduct Charges

The Ogun Government, on Wednesday announced the immediate termination of appointment of one of its ministers Mr Ebenezer Olubena,

Olubena is the Commissioner IV in the State Civil Service Commission, he was asked to leave over charges of misconduct.

This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa, the Secretary to the State Government, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abeokuta.
Adeoluwa said the removal is in accordance with extant laws.

Olubena was directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary at the Commission.

"Consequent upon this, Mr Olubena is hereby directed to hand over all government property and documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary at the Commission immediately.
