Ahmed Musa Set To Join Leicester City This Week?

Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa will complete his N7.3billion ($21 million) move to English Premier League champions Leicester City from CSKA Moscow this week. 

Musa is expected to fly into England on Tuesday, for his medicals and put pen to paper for the EPL champions. 

“Musa’s move to Leicester is a done deal, they are paying $21m for him, which is over N7.3b when converted to naira in today’s exchange rate,” a source close to the player told fcnaija.com.

“He will definitely sign this week, once he passes a medical,” the source added.

Corroborating this development is CSKA Moscow coach, Leonid Slutsky, who also made it known the club have gotten a replacement for the Nigeria international.

“Musa Flies on Tuesday (to England), the move is to the champion of the Premier League, ” Slutsky confirmed through Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

“Soon a good striker will come to CSKA, a foreigner. I am not going to call the surname, I think it will be announced next week,” he added.

Musa joined CSKA in 2012 from VVV Venlo.
