Rashford's Jersey Sale Booms Ahead Of  Rooney and Vardy

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is the new kid on the block in the England squad, but his name is already selling more of the national team’s replica shirts than Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy.

Rashford could learn a thing or two from Rooney, the vastly experienced England captain, and also Vardy, who has grafted his way up from non-league to becoming a title-winning talisman.

Both Rooney and Vardy, though, still have not shifted more shirts than the 18-year-old rookie.

Rashford shirts account for 15% of all sales while Vardy is on 12% and Rooney has been lagging behind on 9%.

Then again, with a 100 percent strike rate of goals per game for England, maybe Rashford has earned his popularity.
