You Can't Be King In Manchester - Watch Cantona Cocky Message To Zlatan [VIDEO]

Known for his arrogance and his sublime skills during his playing days, Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona has a message for the club's new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic who himself is cocky.

The retired French footballer spoke about the just concluded Euro 2016 extensively as he heap praises on France and Antonne Griezman while blasting German captain Sweinsteiger for not following his coach's instructions of keeping hands in pant.(A huge jab at Joachin Low).

The self-imposed commissioner of football further declared that, he has been contacted for the vacant England manager post as he lashes out at champions Portugal and Wales for not adequately prepared for the tournament.

The Frenchman finally spoke about Zlatan, he welcomed him to the theatre of dreams and offered to give him the iconic number 7 shirt if he wants. But claimed he can only be a Prince in Manchester

Cantona is dubbed “the King” following his five-year stint at the club under the great Sir Alex Ferguson and loved by the Mancunians.

“I have a personal message for Zlatan,” begins Cantona. “You decided to go red, it is the best choice you ever made.


“When you walk into the Theatre of Dreams and you feel the ghosts of the legends who have been there before, when you score a goal right in front of the Stretford End; when you hear the crowd chanting your name; when your heart beats so strong that it bursts out of your chest; when you feel that you will love them as much as they love you; you will know, my friend, that finally you have made it home.”

He added: “Just one last thing. There can only be one king in Manchester. You can be the prince if you want to and the number seven shirt is yours if you are interested. This is my welcome gift to you.

“The king is gone. Long live the prince.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic spent four successful seasons at Paris Saint German in France and joined Manchester United on a free this summer.
