Skin Cancer: Sepp Blatter Goes For Surgery

Immediate past president of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), had a successful surgery session to treat his skin cancer condition.

This was revealed by Blatter's spokesperson, Thomas Renggli, who told Swiss newspaper, Schweizer Illustrierte.

Renggli said, "The operation took place on Wednesday and was a success,"

"Sepp Blatter left the clinic again on Thursday to return home. He is fine."

The ex FIFA boss is currently serving a 6-year ban from all football activities, for his involvement in a bribery scandal.

The office of the Swiss Attorney General, headed by Michael Lauber, initiated a proceeding against him for criminal mismanagement and misappropriation on September 25, 2015.
