Renato Sanches Emerges Young Player Of Euro 16
Teenage play maker, Renato Sanches has been named Euro 2016's Young Player of the Tournament.
Sanches who signed a contract at Bayern Munich this summer was given the medal following his outstanding performances at the Euro 16 tournament.
He was given the award ahead of Portugal team mate Raphael Guerreiro and Bayern Munich team mate Kingsley Coman.
The award is open to players born in 1994 or later and selected by UEFA technical observers including former Man Utd manager, Alex Fergusson.
Sanches played in six of the seven matches at the tournament in France, scoring his first international goal in the quarter-final against Poland.
He has established himself as a Portugal star having played 79 minutes in Sunday's win over France, where Portugal won the Euro 16 tournament.
