OAU Students Decry Long Term Closure Of The School

The students of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,  have decried the long term closure of the school, saying they want to resume immediately.

It would be recalled the school senate was dissolved and the students have been on and off before then, but there was complete closure following Federal Government's intervention in the problems that were plaguing the school.

The students have taken to their social media, appealing to the Federal Government to reopen the school as they are tired of sitting at home.

Some of them saying they could resort to other things that could be 'dangerous' to the society.

Hopefully, the voice of students would be heard, as so much time has been wasted - 2015/16 academic session hasn't begun when other schools would begin their 2016/17 session in August or September.
