Niger Delta Avengers Twitter Account Suspended By Twitter

The twitter account with which the militant group announced the five blowups of pipelines within Friday to Sunday has now been itself, blown up.  The group usually give updates of its activities through the website, www.nigerdeltaavengers.org, and Twitter account, @NDAvengers. However as at Monday morning, the Twitter account of the Avengers had been suspended by the authorities of the social platform.

Anyone who tries to access the account gets the error message: “Account suspended. This account has been suspended. Learn more about why Twitter suspends accounts, or return to your timeline.”

This is not the first time that an information platform of the Avengers would be shut down. Back in June, the official website of the militant group – www.nigerdeltavengers.com – was replaced by the error message: “404." suggesting that, the requested URL was not found. But then, Less than 24 hours after the website was shut down, the group launched a new one — www.nigerdeltaavengers.org, with claims that the website was not shut down. "It was under maintenance."

Up till date, the website which was supposedly on maintenance never cane back up but the new one is still fully accessible.
