Kanu, Okocha, Neymar, Messi Other World Stars To Share Pitch Together

In what seems like a parade of stars, Cameroonian football legend, Samuel Eto's is set to assemble fellow football icons to grace the 10th Anniversary of his foundation,  Fundación Privada Samuel Eto’o on July 16.

Two of Nigeria’s finest footballers of all-time, Nwankwo Kanu and Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha will team up with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Diego Maradona as they are billed to feature in the game

The 35-year-old  former Barcelona striker who currently plays for Turkish side Antalyaspor will host 23 great footballers both retired and those still playing in a charity game to raise funds for his Foundation.

His former teammates Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta will be playing at the game and will be joined by the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez, Diego Maradona, Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba and Arda Turan.
According to a statement on Antalyaspor's website,

“Samuel Eto’o will host a friendly game on 16 July 2016 at the Antalya Arena stadium. Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Maradona, Hazard, Iniesta, Demba Ba, Drogba and Arda Turan will be some of the names in his dream team. ”

It will be recalled that, Eto'o was in Nigeria in May to honour former Super Eagles defender, Joseph Yobo who celebrated his 101 caps for the national team with a game at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Peter of PSquare is scheduled to also perform at the event as he and Eto's are very good friends.
