Koffi Anan singer, Yemi Alade attended the 2016 BET Awards which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Appearing in style, ‘Mama Africa’ wore a bold Zuhair Murad gown from the brand’s Resort 2016 collection at the 2016 BET Awards.

The multi colored dress featured a perforated embellished bust over a flared A-line bottom in bold floral prints. Despite appearing simple, the dress was rumored to have cost 2 Million Naira. 

Yemi Alade was nominated for Best International Act – Africa, which South Africa’s Black Coffee eventually won.
