Health Benefits Of The 'Indispensable' Tiger Nuts (Ofio)
The Tiger nuts, popularly known as Ofio, might have lost its prominence in Nigerian homes, in Nigerian primary and secondary schools (People born before the 21st century would understand me), but it still remains a Nigerian fruit variety and should rather be taken more health-seriously.
I shall be using Ofio, because it sounds more indigenous than Tiger nuts.
Ofio is a tuber-like nut, that taste like coconut but has a stronger nutty flavour. It can be combined with several things, or local drinks (Not ogogoro) to give you a lovely taste.
