Rihanna, Jay Z Sued Over Breach Of Agreement In Nigeria

Megalectrics MD, Chris Ubosi has taken Rihanna and Jay Z to court over refusing to appear at a concert organised by him.

Chris Ubosi is the MD of Megalectrics that handles the operation of Classic FM 97.3, Beat 99.9 FM and Naija FM 102.7.

It is claimed that Rihanna has received a fat chunk of the money agreed for the concert but she refused to show, and one of Ubosi's pain is that she is feigning ignorance.

The concert is claimed to have taken place in 2013, but Africamusiclaw says it never took place.

Africamusiclaw also says he struck a deal with people who claimed to represent Rihanna, her label (Roc Nation) and Jay Z. Rihanna would get $425,000 to play for 65 minutes, of which $160,000 was paid.

Rihanna's camp then asked that the show be postponed of which Ubosi agreed on terms that she posts the new date on her social media.

Ubosi, in the suit, claims that never happened and is demanding his money back.

Sources close to the Singer's  and her management claim they knew nothing of the arrangement and no money was collected.

Chris Ubosi might just be a victim of one of the these scammers.

Maybe he should have investigated the management before sending out so much money.
