Playboy Mansion Reportedly Sold Out?! 

The Holmby Hills estate has been sold to a buyer who owns an adjacent property for an undisclosed price.

The approximately 20,000-square-foot, 29-room mansion had been listed for $200 million. The buyer was identified as Hugh Hefner's next-door neighbor Daren Metropoulos, who reportedly purchased his current resident from Hefner for around $18 million in 2009.

As a condition of the sale, Playboy Magazine founder Hefner will continue living at the mansion he purchased 45 years ago for just over $1 million. Following Hefner’s tenancy, Metropoulos plans to connect the estate with his current home to make a roughly 7-acre compound.



The 5-acre property features a game house, home theater, wine cellar and the famous swimming pool with a cave-like grotto where Playboy bunnies partied with celebrities. The mansion also comes with a zoo license.
