Nigerians React To Aisha Buhari's Comment On Twitter

Nigerians have taken to twitter to raise eyebrows on the comment made by First Lady, Aisha Buhari, on Fayose.

Aisha Buhari took to her twitter page (deleted now) to call Fayose a 'mad dog'.

This comment was made following an accusation by Fayose that Aisha is part of a list of people indicted in a corruption case.

Aisha tweeted:

Enough is enough Fayose. A mad dog that isn't chained. I refuse to keep quiet.

Following this, Nigerians have asked that she shouldn't have made the comment,while some others asked that she sues him for defamation instead of registering her displeasure on a social media.

Even the opposition party, PDP took to their twitter to state that Buhari and his family are capable of assassinating Fayose.

Meanwhile, the Aisha Buhari in the corruption case is not the First Lady as confirmed by the former chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde:

I can tell you authoritatively that the Aisha Buhari named in that case is not President Buhari’s wife. It is another Aisha Buhari entirely.

I was the director of operations at the EFCC at the time so I know about the case very well. I can tell you that it is not her (President Buhari’s wife). That much we established.
