Lil Wayne Consumes Too Much, Provokes Epileptic Seizures

The 33 year old epileptic rapper, was seen drinking a mix of antihistamine Promethazine and cough medicine Codeine - while at his Minneapolis gig over the weekend. It was reported that, Lil Wayne was holding five 16oz bottles of the sizzurp mix while at his show, and drank a lot over the weekend.

On Monday, the rapper had two seizures while on flights from Wisconsin to California, causing the pilot of his private jet to make two emergency landings in Omaha, Nebraska before he was rushed to hospital.

According to reports, the first time Wayne's private jet landed in Omaha, he was treated by paramedics, but then refused medical treatment, He then got back on the plane and the pilot took off. But it was reported that he suffered another seizure after about two minutes in the air, and the pilot had to  make another emergency landing at the same airport. The hit maker had 'blacked out' and was treated on the plane before an ambulance took him to a nearby hospital.

                     

In 2012 the singer made similar stops two days in a row due to seizures. Also in 2013, the rapper had a seizure after shooting a video with Nikki Minaj. he later revealed in an interview;

"This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh...I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them,' he told Power 106's DJ Felli Fel. 'My heart rate went down to 30 per cent. I have people around me who know how to handle it. This time was real bad because I had three back to back and the third one was so bad.. 'But the reason being just stress, no rest, overworking myself."

                        
A source was also reported to have said; "It’s more of a history of him having seizures more than it is him partying and drinking and doing things that would trigger a seizure. He’s been very open and upfront about his seizures and has been suffering from those types of episodes since he was a kid.' But when he got out of the hospital, he vowed to be more careful. Wayne was extremely 'scared' for his life, the site added. 'I know that when he was in the hospital back in March [2013], that was an eye opening experience for him and changed the way he sees life,' a source said. 'He’s young and a lot of people depend on him so it was important for him to keep a brave face but deep down, he was scared. That was a case of him being neglectful toward his health."
