Juventus Signs Miralem Pjanic For £25.4m

Juventus status as the top dog in Italy could continue for a while after the club announced the signing of Miralem Pjanic from AS Roma.

The Bosnian signed from Roma for £25.4m on a five-year contract. Miralem Pjanic has signed for Juventus The Bosnia-Herzegovina midfielder, 26, had been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea.

Pjanic, who passed a medical on Monday, joined Roma from French club Lyon in the summer of 2011.

Meanwhile Juventus are believed to be looking for a way to offload players from the squad like Hernanes, Caeseres and Kwadwo Asamoah.

 He scored 10 goals and set up 12 more in 33 league appearances to help Roma finish third in Serie A last season, 11 points behind champions Juve.
