Federal Government Recruitment Backup Site Ready For Use Again

The Nigerian Federal Government recruitment site, npower.gov.ng, which was set up for the recruitment of about 500,000 Nigerian youths for direct teaching jobs was reported to have come live online on the 11th of June 2016 and applications where expected to start coming in on the 12th of June.

Unfortunately, there were reports that the site wouldn't respond as jobless youths flooded the site in order to drop in their applications.

President Muhammad Buhari had announced earlier in May, that the nation formally launched the social investment programs of  which N-Power Teach is just one of the three direct job creation and training schemes Nigerians should apply for.

Others are, N-Power Knowledge which is supposed to train 25,000 Nigerians in Technology and N-Power Build which would train 75,000 others in the areas of; Building services, Construction, Utilities, Hospitality and Catering, Automotive vocations, Aluminum and Gas service.

N-Power Teach official site, npower.gov.ng, which was reported to have gone down due to excessive traffic is one Nigerian's hope for the reduction in unemployment which is seen as one of the core reasons for crime in the nation.

The site however can now be visited again as it is now back on and can be accessed.
