Akon To Be Presented With Global Good Award At BET Awards

The BET Networks revealed yesterday that the Senegalese singer, Akon, will be honoured at the 2016 upcoming awards ceremony with a 'Global Good Awards'.

According to BET Networks, the annual Good Award is presented to individuals who have made a positive impact all around the world, and for the multi-platinum singer, he is getting it for his humanitarian works.

We would recall that the singer announced his solar academy which will aim at providing electricity for over 600 million Africans.

Congrats to him. Almost similar to winning a world peace award right?
