Parents: Style Them Up For Children’s Day!!

Its yet another time to show our kids just how special they are to us, to thank God for giving us wonderful kids and the spoil them with everything we’ve got because, its their special time of the year, its Children’s Day.

Now, before we go on to feeding our eye with beautiful styles that we might pick from to style our children with for the special day as they will be going for school functions or you might be planning a family outing, let’s go through a brief history of Children’s Day.

In August 1925, some 54 representatives from different countries gathered together in Geneva, Switzerland to convene the first “World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children”, during which the “Geneva Declaration Protecting Children” was passed. The proclamation made a strong appeal for the spiritual needs of children, relief for children in poverty, prevention of child labour, reassessing the way that children are educated and other issues related to the welfare of children around the world. So while we celebrate with our kids, let’s not forget the poor and hungry.
