Emma Watson, From The Recycling Bin To The Met Gala
Emma Watson attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala 2016 in NYC, wearing a black-and-white ensemble crafted entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
In collaboration with Eco-Age, the organization that spearheaded the Green Carpet Challenge for sustainable fashion, Calvin Klein Collection created an off-the-shoulder bustier, wide-leg tailored pants and a long detachable train for the Harry Potter star, 26. All of it was made using one of three materials: sustainable cotton, satin or taffeta, each of which were woven from yarn made from plastic bottles.
