Against All Odds, Leicester Wins The Title

The Leicester Football Club known as the Foxes have betrayed all odds against them and won the English Premier League.

As at when the league started last year and it seemed they were a force to reckon with, all and sundry threw out the fact that the Foxes would come from nowhere to win the league – at least not when the big teams are still in form.

Football lovers, coaches and professional football players did not believe the Foxes could win the title even early this year, but it seemed a fairytale turned reality when Tottenham started dropping points.

Van Gaal had already told the world that Leicester was not going to win the title at Old Trafford and everyone thought he was joking. They tried but could not.

The pressure after that was on Tottenham to win at Stamford Bridge and make sure the Foxes do not win the title.

The Chelsea FC midfielder Hazard then stated that he did not want Tottenham to win the League and he made sure that did not happen when he threw in the equalizer for Chelsea yesterday.

Leicester, from the beginning of the League have shown resilience and determination and, it is this that has made them go home with the title.

The question is - can they defend this title and compete in the Champions League?

However smaller teams must not forget the lesson Leicester has taught.
