Yoruba Actor, Alasari's Wife Killed In Truck Accident

Tragedy has struck the family of Ishola Durojaye, one time popular face in Yoruba home video who died some 5 years ago as his wife, Adeola, was reported to have been crushed to death last Friday in Adatan area of Abeokuta. In a story monitored on TVContinental, the mother of one was reportedly knocked down as she was getting off a motorbike, and had died on the spot.

Eye witness account said the truck ran into her from behind as she was trying to disembark from a commercial motorcycle popularly called okada and died instantly.

Muyiwa Adejobi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed that the accident occurred at Car Wash in Adatan on Friday and that the Police later got to know her identity as the wife of the late Yoruba actor and movie producer, Ahmed Isola Durojaiye popularly called Alasari.

The remains of the deceased were interred at late Alasari’s home at Elega, in Abeokuta on Saturday morning, according to Muslim injunction.
