Hoodlums Not Herdsmen Are The Ones Attacking Communities - Enugu Police
In contrast to what has been making the rounds in the social media about the attacks by armed herdsmen in Enugu State, the police public relations officer, Ebere Amaraizu, has come out to state that the attack was by hoodlums not herdsmen.
Ebere stated that at this point, the police had to come out and debunk the news making the rounds on the social media that the attack was by fulani herdsmen.
He has also stated that six people and 11 have been injured in the attack by the hoodlums not the outrageous number published by some media houses and on the social media.
Ebere, who is a deputy superintendent of police (DSP), expressed the sympathy of the command with the bereaved families and reassured the public that the perpetrators would not escape punishment.
